Musiker sind nie zufrieden

Zwischen Ausübung der Musikkunst und dem Konsumieren derselben liegen große Unterschiede. Immer wieder sagen die Musiker, “es war ok” oder “wir haben alles gegeben” aber niemals sagen sie etwas wie “das war sehr gut”. Natürlich nicht, denn Perfektion ist angestrebt, die jedoch bei Livekonzerten schier unmöglich ist.

Aber darum geht es mE doch gar nicht. Es geht doch darum, ob das Publikum begeistert ist! Da sitzen oder stehen doch überwiegend keine Kunstkritiker, sondern ebensolche Laien wie ich selbst, die einfach nur diese Art Musik lieben.

Musicians are never satisfied

There are big differences between practicing the art of music and consuming it. Time and again, musicians say “it was ok” or “we gave it our all” but they never say something like “it was very good”. Of course not, because perfection is the goal, but it is almost impossible at live concerts.

But that’s not the point in my opinion. It’s about whether the audience is enthusiastic! It’s not art critics who are sitting or standing there, but amateurs like myself who simply love this kind of music.
