Aus der typischen Berliner Eckkneipe, wurde in den 1970er Jahren eine für die Berliner Musikszene wichtiger Ort mit Livemusikveranstaltungen. “Die Schwerpunkte liegen dabei auf traditionellem Jazz und Swing sowie besonders dem schwarzen Rhythm & Blues. New Orleans Jazz, Soul u.ä. vom Feinsten” stellt sich das Yorkschlösschen selbst vor.
